I bought these at Macy's last summer on a whim. I usually go between an 8.5 and a 9 and I got these in a 9. The heel is a bit high, but it's 4in so if you are comfortable in heels you should be fine here. The opening is a bit big for my calf, but I wasn't looking of something that was form fitting, so this is fine. It's definitely not big enough to fall off or cause me any annoyance or discomfort. The balls of my feet do hurt after wearing these for several hours, but I put a gel cushion in and it's been fine. They look great with jeans and can work well with skirts and dresses as well. The material is sturdy and I haven't had any bad scratches, scuffs or stitching coming undone in the 6 months I've owned these even though I have worn them in the rain and to several parties. I took away one star simply because they are not the most comfortable 4in shoes I've ever been in, but honestly, I barely notice, and have danced and bar hopped in these shoes without thinking about my feet at all. I say get them, especially at the reduced price. Worth $50-ish for sure, and they add a cute western style boot to your outfit without being too rodeo.
